New iPod Touch was my idea

In the run up to my daughters birthday we went through the usual rigmarole of secretly trying to steer every conversation onto “what would be the one thing she would most like for her birthday”. The iPod touch always came out number one so I set about doing my Dad checks, is it worth the money? Will I have to buy bits for it?will it do everything she wants? etc.

After a number of hours trawling through the Apple Store I was amazed to discover a fundamental flaw with the 3rd Gen iPod Touch, in fact I was so amazed I posted it on my Facebook status.

Why does an iPod touch not have a camera??????

It seems they must have been watching my Facebook status in case I had any good ideas. The new iPod touch comes with a built in camera. It also boasts, FaceTime, Retina display,HD video recording and an improved Game Center.

You can get hold of the entry model from Play.com for £189 with free delivery but I always wondered why any one would buy from a third party when Apple will engrave it for you for free.
